• Laurence Tratalos

    DIRECTOR

    A graduate of UEA’s prestigious creative writing course, Laurence’s scripts have landed him on the BBC Writersroom, The Series Mania Writers Campus, and a mentorship from Jon Petrie through the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course. He has been shortlisted for the BBC Studios Writers’ Academy and has written five shorts that have been selected for BAFTA and OSCAR qualifying festivals, one winning best postgraduate film at the Bolton Film Festival, and another being shortlisted for a Student Bafta.

    He has had television projects in development with Various Artists, Hat Trick, and Fudge Park, and is now a Bafta Connect Member. He is currently writing his second feature, ANCESTRY, for Fresh Orange. Everything Laurence writes has comedy in it, informed by his Northern sensibility – where humour is a necessity, even when dealing with tragedy.

  • Harry Sherriff

    DIRECTOR

    Harry Sherriff is a London-based writer-director, known for his distinctive storytelling and cinematic vision. A graduate of the prestigious Directing Fiction course at the National Film & Television School (NFTS), Harry was awarded a BAFTA and Warner Bros. Scholarship during his studies.

    His early short films, Date With Death and Jeremy: A Nightmare, have been showcased at BIFA, BAFTA, and Oscar-qualifying festivals, with Jeremy winning Best Postgraduate Film at Bolton Film Festival. His graduate project, Jester, about a depressed jester navigating plague-ridden England, stars Adrian Schiller (The Last Kingdom) and Carly-Sophia Davies (The Eternal Daughter). Harry has also expanded his directorial skills through shadow directing on high-profile projects, including Bank of Dave 2 (Netflix), directed by Chris Foggin, and GIANT, directed by Rowan Athale. 

    A member of Directors UK, Harry is currently under the mentorship of acclaimed director Will Sharpe.

  • Simon Orange

    DIRECTOR

    Over the last 20 years, Simon has been involved in funding and managing businesses and has overseen the creation and growth of several ventures, some of which have been sold to companies trading on the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange.

    Simon is the Founder and Chairman of Manchester based, CorpAcq Ltd, a corporate compounder with over 40 businesses under management and Revenue of over £800m. In addition to CorpAcq, Simon is a Founder Investor and Director of BOL (a company supplying food products to major retailers), a former investor in Dermalux, a world leading British LED phototherapy company and the majority owner (along with his wife Michelle) of Premiership Rugby club Sale Sharks.

    Simon and Michelle are major donors at BAFTA.
